The Health Equity Matters e-newsletter is an electronic publication produced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC)
Office of Minority Health and Health Equity (OMHHE) which intends to "promote awareness of minority
health and health equity issues" that affect the work at CDC and the
broader public health community.
The current issue Spring 2013: Vol.2, #2 includes news highlights about"language access" plans from both the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service (HHS) and CDC, the impact of community health programs on reducing health disparities, and suggested conversations and publications.
